Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - 03/20/17

We kicked off the weekend by shooting Miss Mayra on Friday. Here are a few shots we captured.

Saturday we headed to San Francisco, CA for the San Francisco City Council's first cruise of the year. Here are a few shots we captured. Hope you enjoy.

Streetlow Salinas Car Show

Every year Streetlow Magazine start their show season in our hometown of Salinas, CA. The show is literally a couple miles away from home so it's hard to miss. I'm glad I took the trek down the road to enjoy some nice low riders on a beautiful sunny day.

Our first stop this weekend was the Niles Cruise Night. If you've never gone you need to make it a point to go. Good vibes and great rides. Plus Bronco Billy's Pizza right across the street.

After attending the Streetlow Show in Salinas, CA we headed to San Jose, CA to shoot Aieko Espejo with Robert Velasco's (R&S Hydraulics) 1941 Chevy Convertible.

The article mentions the Deadend Magazine store and some of our local favorite local places.

“The brothers get to indulge their obsession for classic cars, traveling to and covering 70 events a year, hosting their own 300-vehicle Custom Capitol gathering in Prunedale’s Manzanita Park and doing two Burrito Bike Ride benefits a year. But they also get to honor their dad’s hobby and that desire to have a purpose.”

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - 02/27/17

This past weekend we headed down to San Diego, CA to check out the Big 3 Swapmeet for the first time. The Big 3 lived up to it's reputation and ur expectations. Many of our friends from all over the state kept saying they were finding deals throughout the weekend. We snapped a few shots of some of the cool cars we seen while walking though the endless isles.

After a few hours of catching up with friends and walking the isles we headed to downtown Los Angeles to the Teen Angel exhibit & book release. We didn't capture many photos but here are a couple.

We finally had a chance to shoot Mike Montes' 51 Cadillac. In case you're unfamiliar Mike is the blessed individual that won this beautiful mild custom that was built by Lost Angels Children's Project at last year's Ventura Nationals. For more info visit www.lostangelscp.org

Sunday we headed to Concord, CA to shoot a few of the cars the fellas at East Bay Speed & Custom have at their shop at the moment. The East Bay crew have been pumping out some amazing customs & hot rods the last few years.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - Grand National Roadster Show 2017

First and foremost we'd like to thank everyone who stopped by the Deadend Magazine booth this past weekend at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, CA. We really enjoyed seeing old friends and making new ones. Holding down the booth and walking around capturing photos takes a toll on us but it is definitely worth it!

As you can see from our (short) coverage there was a lot to see and admire at the "Grand Daddy Of Them All."

831 (Tales from the Area Code) - Monterey County Weekly

Local newspaper "Monterey County Weekly" released an article about Deadend Magazine today.

"The brothers’ car fixation became dedication after their father fell ill and passed away in 2004. In his passing they found both inspiration to seize their dream – and their own destiny – while honoring his longtime hobby."
