This past weekend we had a killer turnout at out Spring Release party at the Deadend Magazine store.
We can’t express how truly grateful we are for the support we receive. We had friends from as far as LA come up to grab a copy of the new magazine and many many friends from the Bay Area and of course our local community.

Friday night we headed to San Jose for the Julian Nunez (aka Kid Nunez) photo exhibit at Cukui in Japantown. Even though we spent most of the night outside checking out the cars Julian had some great photographs on display (Make your way to Cukui to check them out yourself)

First of all we'd like to thank everyone involved who helped make the Custom Capital a success for the 4th year. We really appreciate the continued support!

The Custom Capital kicked off Friday night at the Deadend Magazine flagship store.

Saturday things got going early. Tu Sabes Car Club from San Jose, CA were there before us! Customs, Low Riders, Hot Rods and classic cars cruised in and out all day. We had a great time and were very impressed with the quality of cars that came out. Thanks to everyone who came out to spend a beautiful Saturday with us at Manzanita Park. Thanks again to everyone who helped make the event a success. We're already planning for next year.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - 08/15/16

Low Riders, Customs and Hot Rods took over Japan Town San Jose once again for the Kid Nunez photography exhibit. If you didn't have a chance to make it down to Cukui this past Friday night here are a few photos we captured. There were much more cars we could've captured but we got caught up catching up with old and new friends. Good times! 

On Saturday we helped host the car show for the Salinas Valley Food & Wine Festival and were too busy to take many pictures. Here are a couple of the Salinas Boys built 36 Ford in front of the Deadend Magazine store after the show. Thanks to everyone who supported!

Deadend Magazine Backpack Drive 2016

The Deadend Magazine Backpack drive started today!

Bring in a new backpack to the Deadend Magazine store (16 Midtown Lane Salinas California) today (July 26th) through Saturday (July 30th) and we'll trade you for a Deadend Magazine t-shirt (while supplies last)

We are donating the backpacks we collect to a local elementary school.

Thanks to all of those who have already shipped backpacks. We really appreciate the support.
