Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - 08/14/17

Friday night we headed to San Jose for the Julian Nunez (aka Kid Nunez) photo exhibit at Cukui in Japantown. Even though we spent most of the night outside checking out the cars Julian had some great photographs on display (Make your way to Cukui to check them out yourself)

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - 08/15/16

Low Riders, Customs and Hot Rods took over Japan Town San Jose once again for the Kid Nunez photography exhibit. If you didn't have a chance to make it down to Cukui this past Friday night here are a few photos we captured. There were much more cars we could've captured but we got caught up catching up with old and new friends. Good times!

On Saturday we helped host the car show for the Salinas Valley Food & Wine Festival and were too busy to take many pictures. Here are a couple of the Salinas Boys built 36 Ford in front of the Deadend Magazine store after the show. Thanks to everyone who supported!

Kid Nuñez Photography

We've gotten to know Julian Nuñez (and his family) pretty well the last couple of years. It has been pretty cool to watch Julian grow as a young man and as a photographer. With help and support from his family & friends Julian is becoming a good photographer. A couple months ago the good people at Cukui Clothing (San Jose, CA) asked him to display his photography at their art gallery. We are very happy for Julian and his accomplishments so far. Silicon Valley DeBug sat down with young Julian and created this video about his photography.

Here are a few behind-the-scenes shots of Julian shooting.

Kid Nunez Photography Exhibit

A few weeks back a 13 year old photographer named Julian Nunez from San Jose, California lived out one of his dreams, to have a "car show" for his birthday celebration.  It was actually better than anything young Julian could dream of. Cars didn't just show up for his birthday celebration they showed up to celebrate Julian's first solo photo exhibit at Cukui in San Jose, CA.
We're proud of Julian and his accomplishments so far. We hope he keeps up the hard work.

Here's our video coverage.
