San Francisco King of the Streets 2019 | Cruising Mission

The King of the Streets car show in San Francisco has become one of the most popular and well known lowrider events in the Bay Area. The coolest part of the event happens after the car show when everyone goes out to Mission street to hang out and cruise. If you ever want to experience a true “lowrider” happening we recommend you make it out to San Francisco for the King of the Streets and go to Mission Street after the show. Mission is full of lowriders and people for at least five blocks, every corner has a DJ or someone playing cool music and the cars cruise all evening well into the night. There is so much action that we have a hard time capturing it all even with three of us shooting photos. The atmosphere and vibe is like no other and will turn anyone into a fan of lowriding. The San Francisco Lowrider Council does a great job of working with the City to reserve all the parking spots on Mission for lowriders only, and even though the police is present they seem to focus mainly on keeping the peace during the event.

San Francisco King of the Streets 2019 | Car Show

San Francisco King of the Streets has arguably become the best low rider event in Northern California. Cars from the Bay Area, Central California, Southern California, Nevada & beyond showed up to fill the City College of San Francisco’s huge parking lot. King of the Streets is an experience like no other. From the car show, the hop, the weather, the cruise, everything about the event is unique. The San Francisco Low Rider Council go above and beyond when hosting this event. If for whatever you have yet to attend King of the Streets mark it on your calendar now. Believe us you’ll have a great time. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Deadend Magazine booth.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report: SF King of the Streets & Bay Area Dam Run.

Every year we look forward to what we would call one of the most fun events we go to all year, San Francisco's King Of The Streets. You see The San Francisco Lowrider Council & company do such a great job with  providing so much to do in 1 day it makes for a great time. First there's the car show with hundreds of entries, then there's the hop with hoppers from all over the state competing for the crown and last the event goes to the streets. The Mission district to be exact. Low riders flood the streets of San Francisco making for a great (long) day.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - 07/11/17

We postponed the official Deadend Cruise Night in San Jose, CA to a later date so we decided to text, message, call, etc.. some of our friends to get together anyway and cruise our cars to San Jose, CA. A somewhat unofficial cruise night. We had a great time. Thanks to all who came out.

Saturday we headed to San Francisco, CA for the annual King of the Streets event. We can't really call it a car show cause it's much more. The event starts with a cruise from the San Francisco Mission to Fort Mason (this year's venue) once there, there is also a car show and hop. After most cruise over back to Mission Street for what seems like a low rider takeover. We had a great time. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Deadend Magazine booth.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - Bay Area Weekend

Another busy we look forward to all year. We kicked off the weekend by hosting our annual Deadend Magazine Cruise Night. We moved to a new location and were really happy with the turn out. Thanks to everyone who came out! Here are a few shots we snapped.

Our first stop on Saturday was The Sit Down at Gambino Kustoms in San Jose, Ca. A nice display of customs filled Alex's parking lot.

gambino16-04.jpg

After Gambino's we headed to Niles, CA. The monthly Cruise Night was cancelled but we went anyways (and weren't the only ones) to hang out and catch up with some good friends.

We were back in San Jose, CA early Sunday morning to stop by the Strangers' BBQ and Car Show at History Park. Always a good time.

We ended Sunday by attending the San Francisco, CA King of the Streets cruise, car show & hop. This event is quickly becoming the premiere low rider event in the bay area.

Deadend Weekend Report 10-19-15

This Saturday we spent the day in the Bay Area. Our first stop was at the San Jose Super Show / King of the Streets. Some really nice hoppers came out to show what they got. After the hop we headed to the world famous San Francisco Pier to hang out with Califas Bomb Club & friends. Good times.

This clean '63 rag top was one of the cleanest hoppers.

Deadend Weekend Report 09-28-15

We started this weekend by meeting up with a few cars at Mission St. in San Francisco, CA to cruise to the King of the Streets event at Pier 70

kos15-01.jpg

Some of the bay area's nicest cars showed up to cruise down Mission to the pier.

Once at the pier the hopping action began. Many cars from all over (So Cal, Washington, Nevada...) hopped to be crowned "King of the Streets"

Since we were in San Francisco we decided to shoot Chuca's colorful Riviera (painted by TP Customs)

While we did our thing here on the West Coast our Japanese brothers shot and vended at the Sand Flats in Japan. Looks fun as hell!

We wrapped up our weekend shooting The Cruiser Shop's latest build "El Rum Runner"
