Deadend Magazine Feature - Jeff Cecilio's 1953 Chevy

In our opinion style is the most important thing when building a custom car. The profile, stance, paint, wheel and tire combo, and small details all make a car look good if they all work well together. This 53 chevy owned by our friend Jeff was styled in part by the team at Starlite Rod and Custom in Southern California. Everything from the great color choices to the floating grill and heavy chop all give the car a unique look. A lot of 53/54 Chevys have been customized in the past but this one sure does stand out.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - 08/30/18

Someone just asked me if we had a "car show season" I answered, "Nope." every weekend we seem to be busy all year round.

This past weekend was the same. We kicked off our weekend  by delivering the backpacks ya'll donated to the kids at Sherwood Elementary School on Friday afternoon. This marks our 3rd annual Deadend Backpack Drive and it is very cool to watch the students pick a backpack and get excited about the cars we drive out to their school. Thanks again to everyone who donated!

Although the Pebble Beach Concours Delegance doesn't necessarily fit the bill of car shows we attend it is very fun & exciting to walk around some of the nicest cars on earth. The details on these cars are very inspiring to be around.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report (Part 1 of 2) - 08/22/16

We started our weekend early Friday afternoon delivering 205 backpacks to Sherwood Elementary School in East Salinas that we collected at our Deadend Magazine Backpack Drive. It was an amazing experience to cruise into the elementary school we attended and give back to our community. The kids smiles when they saw the cars and picked a backpack was very inspiring. Many thanks to everyone who donated a backpack and to the fellas that cruised with us to deliver the backpacks.

Knowing there would be a lot of cool cars in and around Monterey for Concours D'Elegance and 'Monterey Car Week' we decided to meet up with a few homies to cruise from Salinas, CA to Monterey, CA Friday evening. We need to host more of these small cruises, it was a lot of fun.

We have more photos from Saturday and Sunday we'll post tomorrow.
