Deadend in Central Japan

While we were in Japan for the Nagoya Speed & Custom show we squeezed in few photo and video shoots.

On our drive from Tokyo to Nagoya we stopped to visit and shoot with a few of our friends. Our first stop was with Tetsuo and a couple other Forever Classics Car Club members in Shizuoka.

After our visit with Forever Classics we cruised up a mountain on a very narrow road to visit Fatty and his family from Beesknees Car Club.

The day after the show Kool Garage Fellows and Strongers Car Club hosted a bar-b-que for us. I was so busy shooting I barely had enough time to eat. Looking at the pics it's hard to believe Fellows garage is located in Central Japan and not America.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - First weekend of 2017 (2 of 2)

Deadend Magazine Japan also rang in the new with some cruising. Toshi and the crew attended the Kustom City New Year's Cruise in Nagoya Japan.

We also stopped by Connected Car Club's New Year's car show in Oxnard, CA. As you can see many low riders from Southern California & beyond showed up.

We ended the first day of 2017 with a trip to Crenshaw Blvd. 'The Shaw' is quite the experience. If you've never been it's hard to explain. A lot of fun to be out on the streets.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - Nagoya Japan!

What a weekend! Yes we're a couple days late but I promise you it is definitely worth the wait. This weekend we headed to Nagoya Japan for the Speed and Custom Show. We got to Nagoya a few days early and managed to visit a couple shops and set up a couple shoots. Enjoy..

Our first stop on Friday after a couple hours of sleep was Paradise Road. One of Japan's oldest shops ran by one of Japan's most recognized builders Junichi Shimodaira. We love stopping by Junichi's shop he always has some crazy builds in his shop.

pr16-03.jpg

Our next stop was Art's Body. The fellas there are pumping out some really amazing traditional hot rod & custom car builds recently.

On Saturday before heading to set up the booth for the show we were able to shoot a couple cool bombs from UpperClass Car Club.

Sunday we spent most of the time at the Deadend Magazine booth but had a chance to walk around the Speed and Custom Show and snap some photos. Here is just a small taste of the awesome cars that were in attendance.

On the other side of the show Offline Buy & Trade Swapmeet where there was a lot of neat bikes.

After the show we caught up with the fellas from Pharaohs Car Club and shot some of their cars.

pharaohs03.jpg

We also had a chance to snap a few shots of 2 of the latest builds from Fit Kustoms who have been building some really nice customs recently.

Thanks to everyone who helped & stopped by the booth. Arigato!
