Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - 01/22/18

This weekend we shot Adam Gonzalez' fresh 65 Buick Riviera. Adam is a local homie who has been building low riders since he was in high school. He owns a candy painted 1966 Impala, a laid out 1963 Chevy wagon and is also building a convertible 1959 Chevy Impala. He decided to go the more traditional custom route with his Riviera. He painted it candy and had Eddie Padilla do patterns on the roof, then did the air ride and put Supremes with wide white walls. We were lucky enough to be the first to shoot this beautiful ride. We hope to see it all the local car events or just cruising the streets.

Mild Customs in Texas

After the Lone Star Round Up we like to shoot a few cars. This year was no different.

We already knew we wanted to shoot "Flat Top" Bob & Linda Owens' (from Owens Salvage) recently refreshed 1961 Buick but had no idea that Flat Top Bob would be rolling with Ryno's most recent build, a smooth 1962 Cadillac. We think the 2 compliment each other quite well, especially with the recent smooth Mike Howell paint jobs.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - 06-20-16

We had a very busy weekend in Southern California.

We started Friday at the Los Angeles Cruise Night in Downtown Los Angeles.

Our second stop was the Los Angeles Roadster Show in Pomona, CA. It is always fun walking through hundreds of roadsters and the cool cars at the swapmeet.

We then headed to meet a few friends in East LA to shoot a few photos of Leilani.

We then kept heading west to Torrance, CA to shoot Leslie Koyama-Carlson's beautiful Riviera.

Coby Gewertz stopped by with "Van Go" Econoline.

After dinner we headed to the Whittier Blvd. Cruise which is always a great time.

Deadend Weekend Report 09-28-15

We started this weekend by meeting up with a few cars at Mission St. in San Francisco, CA to cruise to the King of the Streets event at Pier 70

kos15-01.jpg

Some of the bay area's nicest cars showed up to cruise down Mission to the pier.

Once at the pier the hopping action began. Many cars from all over (So Cal, Washington, Nevada...) hopped to be crowned "King of the Streets"

Since we were in San Francisco we decided to shoot Chuca's colorful Riviera (painted by TP Customs)

While we did our thing here on the West Coast our Japanese brothers shot and vended at the Sand Flats in Japan. Looks fun as hell!

We wrapped up our weekend shooting The Cruiser Shop's latest build "El Rum Runner"
