Santa Maria West Coast Cruisin' Nationals 2019 (Friday Night Cruise)

This day and age there is no shortage or car shows, especially here in California. Some of them like the West Coast Kustoms Cruising Nationals have been around for a long time and have built a legacy for hosting some of the best custom cars in the world. The absolute coolest part of this event is the Friday night cruise. We have always said that classic cars look best in motion, especially lead sleds and chop tops. If you didn’t make the trip to Santa Maria here are a few of the cars that cruised Broadway.

Enjoy!

We postponed the official Deadend Cruise Night in San Jose, CA to a later date so we decided to text, message, call, etc.. some of our friends to get together anyway and cruise our cars to San Jose, CA. A somewhat unofficial cruise night. We had a great time. Thanks to all who came out.

Saturday we headed to San Francisco, CA for the annual King of the Streets event. We can't really call it a car show cause it's much more. The event starts with a cruise from the San Francisco Mission to Fort Mason (this year's venue) once there, there is also a car show and hop. After most cruise over back to Mission Street for what seems like a low rider takeover. We had a great time. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Deadend Magazine booth.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - Santa Maria Cruisin Nationals

This past weekend we headed to Santa Maria, CA for the annual West Coast Kustoms' Cruisin Nationals. We've been going to this event for over 15 years and don't plan on missing it any time soon. Not only is it one of our favorite shows to attend (and vend) but it also marks our anniversary. Back in 2004 Deadend Magazine debuted at Paso Robles. Although the location has changed the Cruisin Nationals still a great event. The cruising Friday night is the hightlight of the event for us and Saturday is a great time at the booth. Thanks to all who stopped by and grabbed some Deadend Magazine gear. Enjoy..

Sunday we headed to Burbank, CA to shoot Chase's beautiful '60 Oldsmobile. As you can see the Olds has a lot of neat subtle custom touches.

Meanwhile our Japanese counterparts were attending  the Lake Side Kruise 'Wagon & Delivery Day.' As you can see there were quite a few nice wagons in attendance.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report Part 1 of 2 - 09-06-16

Hope ya'll had a great Labor Day weekend. I know we did. We started our weekend like we have the last 10+ years, in Ventura, CA for the Ventura Nationals. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth. The wind blew our booth around pretty good but we still had a great time. As you can see below there were plenty of nice cars in attendance.

After the Ventura Nationals and a good meal we headed south to catch some cruising on Whittier Blvd. The boulevard was packed with Low Riders and Customs. It took us over an hour to cruise a few blocks. Good times!

We will upload more photos tomorrow.
