6th annual Custom Capital

This past weekend we hosted the 6th annual Custom Capital at Manzanita Park in Prunedale, CA. To say we had a good time is an understatement. Seems like every year the show keeps getting better & bigger. Customs, hot rods, and low riders came from all over California. Thanks to everyone who brought a car, our sponsors, vendors, our family & friends and anyone who continued to support what we do.

Santa Maria West Coast Cruisin' Nationals 2019 (Friday Night Cruise)

This day and age there is no shortage or car shows, especially here in California. Some of them like the West Coast Kustoms Cruising Nationals have been around for a long time and have built a legacy for hosting some of the best custom cars in the world. The absolute coolest part of this event is the Friday night cruise. We have always said that classic cars look best in motion, especially lead sleds and chop tops. If you didn’t make the trip to Santa Maria here are a few of the cars that cruised Broadway.

Enjoy!

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - 02/20/18

This weekend we headed up to the Sacramento Autorama. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Deadend Magazine booth! It's been a couple years since we've been to the show so it was refreshing to see a wide variety of customs, hot rods, low riders, and trucks scattered through out the large Cal Expo grounds.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - 01/29/18

"The Grand daddy of them all!" The first "big" show of the year. The Grand National Roadster Show. Always lives up to the hype.  This year was no exception. Some of the biggest names in the traditional custom & hot rod scene choose to debut their latest builds the last weekend of January at the Pomona Fairplex. Three days is just enough to see most of the cars that pack the 10 building at the Fairplex. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Deadend Magazine booth!

Sunday we met up with Wade Christiansen in Buena Park, CA to shoot his 1950 Plymouth Suburban. Not too often we see a cool Plymouth Suburban. Wade has had his Suburban for many years. When it came time to build it he took it to Aaron Valenica (from Lost Angels Children Project) The roof was laid out by Mat Egan.

Saturday morning we headed to Antioch, CA to vend and shoot at Billetproof. We've been attending Billetproof for over 10 years and have been vending almost as many. We always have a good time and look forward to seeing our friends from all over the bay area and their cars. This year we had a great time once again. As you can see there were many nice customs, hot rods and even low riders. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Deadend Magazine booth.

Sunday morning we shot Ray Landa's 1959 Chevy Apache in Soledad, CA. Ray is one of the locals here in Monterey County who has been in the car scene for many years, he joined New Image Car Club back in 1977 and has been cruising ever since. His truck is one of those cool rides you can see on the streets any given day. Being laid out and rolling on Supremes with white walls gives it just the right look, so we had to get some shots of it. We are working on putting together a little video of our shoot so stay tuned.
