Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - Mooneyes X-Mas Party 2017

This weekend we headed back down to Southern California for what can potentially be the last Mooneyes X-Mas Party. Yep, that's right. They say it will definitely be the last one held at Irwindale Speedway. The speedway will be torn down soon. Leaving behind many years of memories. We had to make it down just in case it is the last Party all together. Many people had the same idea. Irwindale Speedway was packed! We didn't get to see all the cars. We did manage to see many of our friends. It was good while it lasted. We'll see you at the next one if there is one.

First car we saw in the general admission parking lot. Gave us a good preview of what we would see all day.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - Mooneyes Hot Rod Custom Show

This past weekend we made our way back to Yokohama Japan for the Mooneyes' Hot Rod Custom Show. You've probably heard from many people that this is THE show to go to. You heard right. This show is hard to put into words. If you've never gone you need to do yourself a favor and get yourself to Yokohama the first weekend of December one year. Arigato to everyone who stopped by the booth!

Congrats to our good friend Coby for having his Econoline 'Van Go' as a special guest.

For the first time Deadend Magazine was given the opportunity to choose a car to give an award to. We picked Cholo's Custom's killer 1954 Chevy ' Sphinx' you can see why. Although Sphinx is clean enough to be a show car. Cholo drove this Chevy 4 hours (each way) to the show! Respect.

Deadend Magazine Weekend Report - Santa Maria!

Like every Memorial Day weekend for the last 12 years the Deadend Magazine familia headed down to the West Coast Kustoms's Cruisin' Nationals. Like most years, we had a blast. Things kicked off for us before we even headed down to Santa Maria. A few parties came to the Deadend Magazine store in Salinas, Ca on their way down to Santa Maria to beat the crowds and purchase a few things. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!

The Santa Maria cruise on Friday night kicked off with Customs, Low Riders, Hot Rods and more Customs all lined up, down and around Broadway. As you can see the rest of the weekend was just as great. Enjoy..

Meanwhile across the pond the Deadend Magazine familia Japan attended the Toyohama BBQ.
